ABOUT DANISH DIVERSITY DAY

Diverse and inclusive organisations and leadership teams are the prerequisites for more well-functioning and innovative organisations. And a better world.

In order to create more diverse and inclusive organisations, we need to look at organisations and people with new eyes and not let ourselves be limited by the habits and traditions of the past.

By bringing all talents into play and by respecting everyone regardless of who they are, we create the best conditions for success for all of us.

Fortunately, there are many, both individuals and companies, who are leading the way and showing new ways.

They deserve to be recognised and celebrated. We will do so at Danish Diversity Awards 2023.

Danish Diversity Awards is an annual award ceremony that is held for the second time in Industriens Hus in Copenhagen on 3 May 2023, in collaboration between Goodtalks and DI - Dansk Industri and with the support of dedicated main sponsors and partners.

PURPOSE

The purpose of Danish Diversity Awards is to:

Recognise people and companies who aim to create a diverse and inclusive workplace culture . 

Celebrate.png

Celebrate the difference  diversity can make in the world and the difference people can make to each other.

Inspire.png

Inspire others to begin their journey towards creating more diverse and inclusive workplace cultures.

AWARD CATEGORIES

With Danish Diversity Awards, we wish to recognize concrete actions, efforts and behavior that challenge conventional thinking and contribute to strengthening diversity and inclusion in organisations.

Danish Diversity Awards 2023 is presented within two main categories:

People Awards

Recognising and celebrating people who are leading the way in creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace culture in their organisations:  

  • CEO of the Year

  • Board Member of the Year

  • HR/D&I/CSR Executive of the Year

  • Employee of the Year

Organisational Awards

Recognising and celebrating companies that are consistently focused on creating a diverse and inclusive workplace culture through a holistic, strategic approach:  

  • Organisation of the Year (less than 500 employees)

  • Organisation of the Year (more than 500 employees)

  • Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year.

NOMINATION PROCESS

How to nominate?

You can nominate yourself, a colleague, or your company / organisation by completing and submitting the nomination form below. 

 

You are very welcome to submit a nomination form in more than one category.  

To ensure solid documentation for the jury in the evaluation process, please provide elaborated answers to the nomination questions and, if available, please support using data, employee statements, report references etc. 

Please feel free to submit your nomination in Danish or English. 

Timeline

February 28, 2023: Submission and nomination process closes
March 2023: Shortlisting of nominees
April 2023: Selection and information of finalists
May 3, 2023: Award celebration and announcement of winners at Danish Diversity Awards
